Patients arriving for elective outpatient surgery and who were preadmitted i.e., have completed history and physical, lab tests, EKG and chest x-ray performed prior to admission must arrive at the facility two 2 hours before their scheduled surgery by 6:00 AM for 7:30 AM cases.
Patients who have NOT been preadmitted i.e., without completed H&P, lab, EKG and x-ray must arrive at the facility at least three 3 hours prior to their scheduled surgery in order to adequately complete all preoperative needs.
