The after hours medical exchange will have access to the physician or physician on-call at all times.
The exchange will direct the patient to call 911 if the patient deems the incident a medical emergency. The exchange will then notify the physician or physician on-call.
All after hours calls will be logged by the exchange and forwarded to the office on a daily basis.
To assure the highest level of care to patients, all physicians providing on-call coverage will be of the same medical specialty as the off-call physician.
