Inpatient and Emergency Department Requests No Card in the File:
Carefully remove the request from the printer.
Look up the name in the card file. If there is no card in the card file, use the new medical record number.
Write the medical record number and patient information on the Daily Log Sheet.
Separate the flash card from the request. Complete all paperwork before starting the exam.
Fill in the x-ray jacket and any appropriate jacket inserts.
Make sure the exam and diagnosis correlate. If they do not, return the request to the place of origin and request the... |
