To provide guidelines for the completion of departmental skills inventory checklists.
POLICY:
The appropriate skills inventory will be initiated within 30 days of the start of the staff member's hire or transfer assignment.
The skills inventory will be completed within the first 90 days for both new employees and employees transferring to departments that have specific skills inventories. Exceptions to the 90-day period will be defined in writing format, with goals and time frames specified.
