To ensure that Hospice personnel reports all suspected cases of patient abuse or neglect under the appropriate laws and regulations.
POLICY:
Hospice personnel are mandated reporters. Hospice will comply with state statutes to report all suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to the Adult or Child Protection Services of the State Department of Social Services.
