LOCK: 2 mL normal saline every 8 hours or heparin flush solution 10 units per mL
Dressing/cap change with site change every 72 hours or PRN.
q MID-LINE CATHETERS:
Flush with 3 mL 10 units per mL heparin flush solution
After blood draw:
5 mL normal saline
3 mL 100 units per mL heparin flush solution
Dressing change every 3-5 days and PRN.
