Discontinue infusion immediately. Do not discontinue IV line, if available, heparin lock IV site.
Rapid assessment of cardiorespiratory status will establish adequate airway and peripheral perfusion.
Epinephrine 1:1,000 concentration 0.3 mL subcutaneously in upper extremity. A total of three 3 doses may be repeated, as needed, at 15-20 minute intervals.
For cardiorespiratory failure, call 911 and begin CPR. Notify physician. In impending shock cases, place client in shock position with legs elevated.
If cyanosis present, give O2 at 5-20 L per minute by mask or nasal prongs. ... |

Administer through a large gauge line to maintain systolic blood pressure at 100 mg Hg or higher.
